Cinecitta Holdings- International Comparative Analysis
SPI was retained by Cinecitta to write a paper examining the strategies used by governments around the world to realise the economic benefits of the film industry and suggest possible strategies for the Italian government to adopt.

Northern Ireland Digital Film Archive – Archive Strategy
SPI created a development strategy for this innovative ‘virtual’ archive containing material from 100 years of Northern Ireland history.
Digital Film Archive Fund Monitoring and Evaluation
SPI has been hired to manage a review, over a three year period, of the UK Film Council’s £3 million fund to support access to moving image archive material. The work has involved design and construction of a toolkit to enable long-term review of the progress of activities funded by the programme.

Jonathan Olsberg participated in the teaching of the CASS Film MBA. He worked with students on a number of areas and helped organised a number of other guest tutors to participate in the MBA.
Hogarth – Advisory Services
SPI has provided advisory services relating to the intention to create a new fund to invest in feature films. The services required have been twofold; firstly to provide advice on the business and investment strategy for the fund and, secondly, to assist in the preparation of a business plan or prospectus-style document, that articulates this strategy.
Strategies for Sustainable Film Businesses
In early 2010, SPI was commissioned by UK Film Council to produce a report that would assist the UK Film Council Board in its deliberations on a possible new paradigm for building UK-based film companies of scale (where film production is a major element of the business model).
