SPI to Participate in South Africa Audiovisual Producers' Dialogue Event

SPI's Managing Director Leon Forde will participate in a live webinar from South Africa's Academy of Television and Screen Arts Studios on 12th November.

Running 18:00 to 21:00 (SAST), the event includes three panel discussions, with Leon participating in a panel between 18:00 and 18:50 (SAST) looking at how South Africa's film and screen sector can thrive and be a key driver of economic growth, job creation and transformation in an enabling legislative and regulatory environment.

This panel will explore the economics of the sector, what a successful film sector would look like, and how investment can be driven into the sector to achieve this.

Panelists also include Sifiso Skenjana (IQBusiness), Michael Auret (Spier Films), Bertrand Moullier (Federation of Independent Film Producers [FIAPF]), Stephen Hollis (Adams & Adams) and Justine Limpitlaw (Electronic Communications Law Consultant).
