SPI to Present Study on the Potential for a Mexico Incentive at the Canacine Convention

Steve Solot, SPI’s Associate for Latin America, will today (March 2nd) present a preview of SPI’s forthcoming study on the potential for an audiovisual incentive for Mexico at the Canacine Convention.

Held in Guadalajara, the Canacine Convention runs from the 1st to 3rd March. Canacine is the National Film and Audiovisual Industry Chamber of Mexico and represents all companies involved in the film industry in Mexico.

The presentation will outline key findings from the SPI study An Audiovisual Production Incentive for Mexico. The study, to be published shortly, examines the potential for a new incentive in Mexico with estimates of potential growth and economic impact.
