Northern Film and Media – Creative Industries Intellectual Property Investment Fund, Feasibility Study

SPI, with partner consultants in the North East, was commissioned by Northern Film and Media to undertake a feasibility study to identify options for the delivery of a “Creative Industries Intellectual Property Investment Fund” in the North East. As part of the assignment the consultants reviewed the business development needs of all the creative industries in the North East – including games, digital media, music, television and film – and constructed key issues regarding these industries' private and public sector investments, as well as the potential economic impact of support in the context of different creative industries’ value chains.
