Major New Project to Evaluate the Impact of the UK’s Screen Sectors

Olsberg•SPI with Nordicity has been contracted today by the British Film Institute to undertake a fresh evaluation of the Impact of the UK’s screen sectors, following on from our 2015 evaluation. This important piece of work will consider the value which the UK’s film, high-end television, games, animation, and children’s television reliefs create for the economy. For the first time, it will also consider the non-incentive elements of the games, animation, and VFX sectors, identifying in full for the first time how these contribute to the UK’s economy.

The research is expected to be published in Autumn 2017.
