The State of the UK Independent Film Sector Report Launches at BAFTA

The State of the UK Independent Film Sector, a major independent study undertaken by SPI for UK producers' body Pact, was today launched at BAFTA's headquarters in London.SPI Associate Director Leon Forde presented key findings from the work in relation to changes in the independent landscape since 2007, including cyclical and structural changes and how the shifting landscape is impacting the sector. The findings were subsequently discussed by Rebecca O'Brien of Sixteen Films, Hakan Kousetta of See-Saw Films, actor and producer Gemma Arterton, and Pact chief executive John McVay.
