SPI recently conducted a study for the Illinois Production Alliance to evaluate the economic impact of the Illinois Film Production Services Tax Credit.

For the evaluation, SPI undertook a multi-year analysis of the incentives — including an examination of their direct, indirect and induced economic effects.

The wider strategic value of production in Illinois – such as skills development and infrastructure investment – was also considered.
