SPI Latin America Associate Moderates San Sebastián International Film Festival Roundtable

On 20th September 2022, SPI Associate to Latin America, Steve Solot moderated a roundtable at the 70th San Sebastián International Film Festival.

Organised in collaboration with Latin American & Caribbean Film Commission Network (LAFCN) and Latin American Training Center (LATC), the roundtable - entitled, "New opportunities for audiovisual collaboration between Spain and Latin America" - discussed the role of film commissions and film offices in Latin America and Spain to promote their destinations, infrastructures, incentives and locations, and new forms of collaboration between them.

This expert panel included Luiz Toledo, Director of International Affairs of SPcine (Brazil), and Diana Álvarez, Director of COMEFILM (Mexico).

During this panel, Steve drew from a range of studies SPI has undertaken in Latin America.
