SPI to Undertake Economic Impact Study of the Illinois Film and Television Production Incentives

The Illinois Production Alliance has commissioned Olsberg•SPI (SPI) to undertake an economic impact evaluation of the Illinois Film Production Services Tax Credit.

For the evaluation, SPI will undertake a multi-year analysis of the incentives — including an examination of their direct, indirect and induced economic effects. 

The wider strategic value of production in Illinois – such as skills development and infrastructure investment– will also be considered.
