SPI to Undertake an Economic Impact Assessment of the Arkansas Digital Motion Picture Incentive and Provide Strategic Recommendations

OlsbergSPI (SPI), has been commissioned by the Executive Subcommittee of the Arkansas Legislative Council (ALC) to undertake an economic impact assessment of the Arkansas Digital Motion Picture Incentive. The study will consider the holistic impact of the incentive program, including economic impacts and broader evidence and analysis of screen production’s strategic value to Arkansas.

The study will also provide recommendations for the development of the screen production industry in state. The recommendations will consider potential improvements to the structure – and the administration process – of the incentive, while leveraging existing state-wide and industry-specific strengths.
