SPI Study on Australia’s Screen Content Production Sector Published

Today, Olsberg SPI (SPI)’s study of the Health on the Australian Screen Content Production Industry was published.

Commissioned by Prime Video, this independent study examines Australia’s screen content production sector and the contributions made by the various commissioners in the industry, including streaming-video-on-demand providers, subscription television providers, public service broadcasters and commercial broadcasters.

The report looks across the sector, investigating production volume from the commissioners, as well as the diversity of activity involving deal structures, content genres, employment and diversity on- and off-screen.

The report delivers objective and independent analysis derived from publicly available data sources and from private interviews with a cross-section representing the key stakeholders in the sector.
