SPI is Recruiting a Senior Research Analyst and a Research Analyst to Join our London Team

Olsberg•SPI, a leading screen sector consultancy firm with a global client base, is looking for energetic and talented researchers to join our team.

This is an exciting career opportunity to join a rapidly growing company at the cutting edge of the global film, television and video games sectors.

The role involves working across a wide range of projects, such as screen production strategy for producers and governments, economic impact studies, film studio business planning and feasibility studies, analyses of film production incentives, as well as sectoral advice to governments and their agencies.

We are looking to hire at both Senior Research Analyst (with a minimum of four years of experience in a relevant role) and Research Analyst levels (a minimum of two years of relevant experience).

Key responsibilities across both will include:

  • Research and analysis using a mixture of quantitative and qualitative techniques

  • Conducting interviews and consultations with leading industry stakeholders globally

  • Writing and editing reports

  • Creating and designing presentations

  • Drafting proposals

  • Contributing to presentations, pitches and client meetings

  • Attending industry events and meetings, as required, including outside the UK (pending current pandemic restrictions)

You:

  • Are passionate about our sector with a strong interest in screen content and the policies, investors and institutions that support it

  • Are highly driven, with the ability and desire to deliver exceptional work

  • Are comfortable working solo on assigned projects, as well as being part of a team

  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience in a range of different data visualisation tools is not essential, but would be a bonus

  • Are able to manage a busy workload, with attention to detail, on multiple concurrent projects

  • Have the right to work in the UK, and the ability and willingness to travel globally (pending current pandemic restrictions)

  • Are able to speak one or more foreign languages in addition to English (this is not essential but would be a bonus)
