Screen Producers Association of Australia (SPAA) Conference 2010

SPAA is the industry body that represents Australian independent film and television producers on all issues affecting the business and creative aspects of screen production. At the 2010 SPAA annual conference, Jonathan Olsberg discussed the key findings contained in Olsberg•SPI's forthcoming report on building sustainable film businesses. The session addressed strategies for creating successful, international film businesses in a rapidly changing digital world, and offered a fresh perspective on the future of film by focusing on real business issues within the globalised environment in which companies and public policies must operate. In addition to examining typical success factors behind company growth, the session will also examine agency strategies used to support these aims. The session provided film entrepreneurs guidance on growth strategies and supporting screen agencies’ efforts to create and sustain healthy film sectors.
