Strategic Recommendations for the Development of the Screen Industries in the Republic of Benin

SPI will undertake a comprehensive study that will provide recommendations for the development of the screen industries in the country. This study will cover various areas, including film, television, animation, video games, interactive content, and emerging methods of screen production, such as virtual production.

The study will provide a set of strategic recommendations for infrastructure creation, policy development, financial tools to assist production, and skills development opportunities.

The study will be conducted in two phases:

• The mapping and strategy phase, where SPI will analyse the status of the screen industries in Benin and provide strategic recommendations to stimulate sector growth.

• The feasibility study phase, where SPI will assess the technical, financial, and operational viability of production infrastructure in Benin.
