A Review of Australia’s Screen Production Sector

SPI was commissioned by Prime Video to assess the health of Australia’s screen production industry. This independent study examined Australia’s screen content production sector and the contributions made by the various commissioners in the industry, including streaming-video-on-demand providers, subscription television providers, public service broadcasters and commercial broadcasters.

The report looks across the sector, investigating production volume from the commissioners, as well as the diversity of activity involving deal structures, content genres, employment and diversity on- and off-screen.
