SPI’s Executive Chair Jonathan Olsberg to Speak at 12th Edition of MEDICI 2023 

Olsberg•SPI (SPI)’s Founder and Executive Chair Jonathan Olsberg will be addressing the 12th edition of MEDICI – The Film Funding Journey from the 27th to 29th of September 2023 in Madrid, Spain. This annual training and exchange forum for decision makers of European public film funds offers content tailored to the specific needs of public film funding. 

Over the nearly three-day conference, participating film funders will have in-depth discussions on pressing issues and evaluate existing funding schemes and programmes.  

The 12th edition of MEDICI will shed light on three principal themes: 

  1. Audience development and the role of public film funds in supporting better outreach 

  2. Collaboration of film funding bodies with streamers 

  3. Change management in the audiovisual sector.
