SPI Advise BFI on new Fund to Support UK Independent Screen Sector to Export to Markets around the World

In April, the DCMS launched the Global Screen Fund. Developed in partnership with the BFI, the £7 million fund will support the UK independent screen sector to export their productions to markets around the world, helping them to compete globally and bringing further recognition to the world-renowned British film industry.

SPI were commissioned by the BFI to assist in developing the concept, guidelines and associated documents for the innovative International Business Development strand of the Fund. This is aimed at supporting UK screen content businesses across film, TV, animation and interactive narrative video games to enhance their international activities.
