SPI to Undertake Economic Impact Study of Connecticut’s Screen Tax Credits

The Connecticut Office of Film, TV & Digital Media has commissioned Olsberg•SPI to undertake an economic impact study of the state’s various screen sector tax credits.

This study will examine the direct, indirect and induced economic effects of film, television and digital media production in state, as well as the impact of incentives on attracting permanent establishments. 

Through consultations, additional detail on impacts – including non-economic impacts – will also be identified, with the study also considering how the incentives might be improved in future.
