SPI to Partner with Screen International on New Global Production Awards

SPI is pleased to announce that we have partnered with Screen International on an exciting new initiative celebrating outstanding and sustainable work in the world of film and TV production, locations and studios.

Organised by Screen International, in association with KFTV and Broadcast, the Global Production Awards will spotlight the initiatives and projects that set the highest standards in sustainability and diversity in production.

The Global Production Awards are open to all organisations and companies working in the film and TV industry including studios, production companies, film commissions, locations, suppliers and manufacturers and any services involved in film and TV production.

Each of the 12 categories will be judged by leading industry experts from around the world, and chaired by SPI Executive Chair Jonathan Olsberg and SPI Managing Director Leon Forde.

Jonathan Olsberg on the new initiative:

Our firm is delighted to be supporting the launch of Screen International’s Global Production Awards as a partner. At SPI, we are constantly researching and advising global locations and production hubs and helping countries and cities create the right environment for the needs of producers. Along with many others, we believe it is vital that the industry puts sustainability, diversity and socially conscious production at the heart of how it works. These awards will celebrate the gold standard of production and locations across TV and film and help benchmark for the very best work in the industry.”

Further information can be found on the Global Production Awards’ website.
