SPI to Undertake a Production Infrastructure and Capacity Audit (PICA) of the São Paulo region

Spcine, the São Paulo City's Agency for film and audiovisual promotion in Brazil has commissioned Olsberg•SPI to undertake a Production Infrastructure and Capacity Audit (PICA) of the greater São Paulo region. Specifically, within the municipalities of Barueri​, Carapicuíba,​Cotia, Osasco, São Bernardo do Campo, and São Paulo.

This study will provide an audit of the municipalities’ current capacity to service international productions. This covers both workforce (below the line) and physical infrastructure capacity, as well as below the line workforce skill gaps. Through consultations, surveying and desk research, the study will provide key data to assist government and industry to develop and implement best practice strategies and policies to support ongoing capacity development to meet the increased demand for production of audiovisual content. 

SPI has previously undertaken a PICA study in Sweden.
