SPI are looking for an Experienced Research Associate to join our London team

Olsberg•SPI, a leading boutique screen sector consultancy with a global client base, has a new position for an energetic and talented research associate to join our office in central London. The position offers an exciting career opportunity to grow with our firm, at the cutting edge of the dynamic film, television and video games sectors across the world. The role would involve being a team member on a wide range of projects such as national development strategies for governments; film studio feasibility studies; business plans for investors; analyses of film production incentives; economic impact reports and advice to global corporate and government clients.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Research and analysis on a wide range of projects

  • Using a mixture of quantitative (including economic) and qualitative techniques

  • Conducting interviews and consultations with industry stakeholders from around the world

  • Writing and editing reports

  • Creating and designing presentations

  • Drafting proposals

  • Contributing to presentations, pitches and client meetings

  • Attending industry events, as required, including outside the UK

You:

  • Are passionate about our sector with an abiding interest in screen content

  • Have at least three years’ experience in a relevant role

  • Are comfortable with working solo on assigned projects as well as being part of a small team

  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral

  • Are able to manage a busy workload, with attention to detail, on multiple concurrent projects

  • Have the right to work in the UK, and the ability and willingness to travel globally

  • Might be able to speak one or more foreign languages in addition to English (this is not essential but would be a bonus)
