SPI Managing Director to Participate in Africa Network Meeting 2021

SPI Managing Director Leon Forde will take part in a panel exploring the role that copyright can play in the growth of Africa’s creative and entertainment industries.

Scheduled for 9th September, the event is part of the Africa Network Meeting 2021 which will focus on some of the major IP themes and trends from the past year.

The panel will be hosted by Stephen Hollis, Partner at law firm Adams & Adams with other participants including:

  • Bradley Silver, Global Head of IP Policy, Netflix

  • Bertrand Moullier, Senior Advisor International Affairs, International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF)

  • Collen Dlamini, Executive Head: Corporate Affairs, Multichoice SA

  • Uche Nwokocha, Partner and Head of Intellectual Property Unit, Aluko Oyebode

  • John Syekei, Partner and Head of Intellectual Property & Technology, Media and Telecommunications Practice Group at Bowmans Kenya.
