Scottish Office, Glasgow – Study on “Scotland on Screen”

This exhaustive study on the development of the film and television industries in Scotland was commissioned by the Scottish Office. The assignment resulted in the writing of a major report, “Scotland on Screen”, which articulated a development strategy for the entire film and television sector in Scotland. The study generated a blueprint for the development of the sector with well thought-through, specific recommended actions. Many of the recommendations were implemented including one to form the first UK unified agency for film: Scottish Screen.
