New SPI Paper on the Global Production Deluge, Commissioned by Film i Väst

The Global Production Deluge, a new evidence and discussion paper on the worldwide content investment boom, has been published and can be downloaded here.

Commissioned by Film i Väst in co-operation with Göteberg Film Festival’s Nostradamus project and in association with Cine-Regio, the paper explores the challenges and opportunities arising for the screen sector. It was previewed as part of Film i Väst's Drowning in Numbers event at the Berlin film festival on 23rd February 2020. SPI’s Managing Director Leon Forde presented an overview of the findings at the event, ahead of a panel featuring Jess Conoplia (president, AFCI), Louise Vesth (Producer, Zentropa), Christian Wikander (Head of European Drama, Twelve Town Production) and Tomas Eskilsson (Head of Strategy, Film i Väst) and moderated by Wendy Mitchell.

An overview of the panel discussion can be downloaded from Film i Väst's website.
