Groundbreaking study on cultural and audience contributions of the UK screen sectors published

SPI’s report on the Cultural and Audience Contributions of the UK’s Film, High-End Television, Video Games, and Animation Programming sectors has been published by the BFI. This major piece of work, the first such combined assessment of the UK screen sectors, addresses the significant contributions made in terms of generating cultural and audience value both domestically and internationally.

The study was conducted for the BFI, Pinewood Shepperton plc, Ukie, the British Film Commission, and Pact, and can be downloaded here. It is a complement to a report on the economic contribution of the UK's screen sectors launched in February this year. Both were conducted in conjunction with Nordicity.
