Launch Event Set for SPI’s Study on the Impact of Film and Television Production Incentives in Australia

Last year, SPI was commissioned by the Australia New Zealand Screen Association (ANZSA) and the Motion Picture Association (MPA) to undertake an economic impact study of the Australian film and television production incentives.

On 13th February 2023 this study is to be launched at an event in Canberra, attended by SPI Executive Chair, Jonathan Olsberg. The report is to be published following the launch.

This study provides an up-to-date impact assessment of the Australian incentives, following SPI’s previous incentive impact report on Australia’s Offsets in 2018.

Further information on SPI’s Economic Impact Studies can be found here.

Please contact SPI Consultant, Kayleigh Hughes if you would like to know more about the study.
